Media Images: Fact Or Fiction
Looking at today's up to date teen magazines I personally think that they create a negative impression on teen's. Sure, some stories and articles in the magazine may relate to a teenager, but do they have a positive effect? Just by looking at the magazines website for 5 minutes I have noticed that a majority of the magazine is advertisements, or articles about how you should look or eat a certain way. Is this really the type of media we want to portray our teen's with? Just by reading these articles for a short period of time, it shows how manipulated our teen race is. These magazine are filled with nothing but garbage. Advertisements, gossip, diet ideas, and lame articles that don't mean a thing anyways. Nothing but garbage to fill our minds with. Teen's are so mushy brained that we would probably believe whatever we are told. Media fills our minds with nothing but stereotypes, and an inaccurate image of teens.
